Hi all, found this great subreddit from a very, very old thread/comment.
I really like the Hagia Sophia Church/Mosque/Museum in Istanbul. And I wanted to ask if anybody knows (perhaps a graduate of art history) of books that are not purely academic, but also skillfully go through the building's history?
Ideally, I would want a book with a good print quality, with good photos (perhaps similar to Taschen's books or of even higher quality publishing companies that I don't even know about). But, I don't think Taschen books are that detailed or deep, either. Still, I'd really appreciate it if you know something (similar) that would scratch that itch.
