Gift book ideas for my 30m brother

Requesting book ideas for my 30yo brother:

-used to a be a big reader as a teen/ya

-vegan/eco minded etc. Slightly crunchy

-seems to mostly reread Marcus Aurelius and keeps trying and failing to read Moby Dick

-smart but cynical.

I think I will get him Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer (non-fiction), but also would like to get him 1-2 more, preferably fiction.

I feel like other people have brothers like this out there! TIA!
