I'm looking for a book for my sister. She's a 2nd grade teacher. I was initially looking for something like a humorous memoir written from a grade school teacher, but a fictional novel dealing with elementary teachers would also be fine. She is an avid reader, but does like more light hearted / funny books.

“The Borrower” by Rebecca Makkai is pretty funny. It’s about a young woman librarian (not a teacher) and a confused 10-year-old boy.
Depending on your sister’s sense of humour, she might like it.
I read *The Faculty Lounge* this summer and it caused my school nightmares to return it was so accurate (and also funny).
