As we get into the busyness of winter, with Christmas around the corner, I feel like my reading has slumpt a bit and I'm not as engaged with my books as I normally am.
Please recommend some quick and engaging novellas or short stories that you loved 🖤
I think I'll definitely put 'A Christmas Carol' on my list, but I'm not necessarily looking for Christmas themes.
I love horror and spooky themes and a good mind fuck or twisty thriller.
I have been recommended 'Hard Luck Jenny' by David Sodergren but more would be good ☺️
Recent reads I've loved (just to give you a feel for my reading genres / themes) are as follows:
– Brat by Gabriel Smith
– We Used To Live Here by Marcus Kliewer
– Incidents Around The House by Josh Malerman
– How to Survive a Horror Story by Mallory Arnold
– The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchinson (re read this about 5 times!)
