Looking for queer realistic fiction with endings that you liked. I feel like a lot of books have wonderful premises and even better writing, but then the ending is.. a bit off. Torrey Peters' Detransition, Baby is one of them for me, and it's one of my absolute favorite books (without getting into specifics).
So, what are queer fiction books with endings that satisfied you? It can be tragic, comedic, mellow, anything – mainly books where the ending worked for you, and felt on par with the rest of the plot/vibe/atmosphere.
