I’ve recently read and really loved:
- a history of wild places and winterwood by shea ernshaw
- the other valley by scott Alexander Howard
- middletide by Sarah Crouch
- I cheerfully refuse by Leif Enger
- we used to live here Marcus Kliewer
The writing in these books did a great job at world building. I felt like I was watching a movie in my head, which sucked me right into these books. I also appreciate a little supernatural/magic element.
