So, I've been reading a lot recently. Being in school and bored, I obviously decided to pick it up. I've been enjoying stuff like history, along with memoirs (Specifically Augusten Burroughs). These are the genres I mainly like, but I will read nearly anything. The books I can think of on the top of my head that I've liked so far is A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. Although my mother allows me to read nearly anything, I'd rather not read anything too raunchy or disturbing. (Despite me enjoying books, my reading level is not extremely high. I struggle with classics like Jane Austen, as they're quite wordy.) (EDIT: I figured I'm probably being pretty vague here… Since I'm pretty young I haven't read many books. And by not too many books, I mean VERY few. I have an interest in American history, Greek mythology, LGBTQ+ history, and more depressing memoirs in specific. I've never read an action book, like ever… If you want to suggest one, make sure it's beginner friendly please, haha!)
