Book suggestions for Xmas list to get me back into reading? 29f

I really want to get into reading again but am struggling to get out of my ‘slump’.

Can people give me some suggestions based on books I couldn’t put down? I think I’m one of those people that needs to be engaged throughout, otherwise I put it down one day and never pick it up again.

Books I couldn’t put down:

Song of Achilles

4th wing (but got ended up leaving the 3rd one half way through)

Hunger games series and its prequels

Game of thrones series (audiobook)

I’d like some suggestions of things I could finish quite quickly (eg SoA) but also some more engaging series.

I really enjoy fantasy and sci fi games, eg Baldurs Gate and The Last of Us, and would love to read books in this genre with engaging characters and good character development!
