This might be too specific but title says it all. Open to suggestions that don't fit my specifications exactly. But I'd love a book with an ensemble cast and some royal or political intrigue, and a 'we're saving the world' theme plot. prefer adult books but am open to mature YA. I like romantic subplots but prefer for that to not be the driving force of the story. I adored the Shadowhunter & Lunar Chronicles books as a teenager, so something along those lines (but adult!!!) would work too. TIA 🙂

Check out what I just posted (at almost the same time-are you me!?!) All deal with royalty and political intrigue and all are amazing. Romance is not the driving force in any (well, maybe in Twelve Houses) though all have it. Have you read any of those? What are some of your favorites?
