I’m new to books really, although I was once obsessed with reading wattpad stories, my english has been deteriorating ever since I stopped, and I want to level up my english again.
I’m really interested in lore and good character design, (big arcane, and the dragon prince fan) also not so realistic tho. Since I’m 16, I don’t want anything too childish either.
Lowkey I’m just asking something similar to animated series, just in an illustrated book format maybe. But it would do me a great favour if someone could suggest something! Thanks for your time! 🙂

Some manga/ manwha I really enjoy are: Solo Levelling, Yona of the Dawn, Dorohedoro, Jujutsu Kaisen, Skip Beat, The Ancient Magus Bride, and A Man and His Cat.
Another one the re-release isn’t out yet that I really enjoy is Mars.
That being said I think Yona, Magus, Jujutsu and Levelling might be more of what you’re currently looking for.
Don’t Let the Forest In has some beautiful illustrations of some of the creatures mentioned within the story. It’s a queer paranormal love story with botanic horror, a private school and lots and lots of angst and beautiful writing
