hello all! i recently got back into reading and need some recs because i want to read more. i mainly enjoy classic literature and i REALLY love franz kafka. some of my favourite books are: the metamorphosis, the trial, in the penal colony, 1984, animal farm, the plague and the stranger. id be glad for any book recommendations with a kafkaesque, absurdist, existential or any similar vibe
i also really enjoy books about forensic medicine and true crime so book recs about those topics will be appreciated as well!

I see you already mentioned a couple of Camus books, but I would also recommend the rebel.
Brave New World is also a good recommendation if you are into a dystopian,(it really rings true with today’s times).
If you liked 1984 and animal farm, I would suggest Darkness at Noon- Koestler (it will fit in very well beside animal farm. It is about the Soviet show trials.
