A lot of modern day fiction books have multiple POVs. In my experience most of them aren't good. The characters often have little variance in inner monologue and/or at least one of the POVs is so boring it can be skipped over.
I'm sorely tempted to not bother with such books unless it comes highly recommended from a trusted source.
Anyone else?

lol fr, rotating POVs can be a mess if not done right. most of the time it feels like just hopping around without adding much. if u can’t bring fresh vibes with each POV, it drags. some ppl kill it tho, props to those authors. but yeah, I usually dip if it’s too chaotic or none of the voices stand out. multitasking perspectives ain’t easy for sure.
