I just started "Yield Under Great Persuasian" by Alexandra Rowland, which so far is a fun saucy fantasy romance. Most of that doesn't matter here.
But I am reminded how much I just adore the concept of Gods playing an active relatively human role in a world of magic. Visiting and chatting with people, ansering prayers, having real genuine believers because they actually impact their lives. It's always such a delightful spin against worlds where Gods are real but are also so other if they're present at all.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a lighter book, but I'd be happy to have a few more books on my TBR that involve an active if not enjoyable pantheon involving themselves in the world.

The Magelands and Magelands Eternal Siege series on Kindle. Mostly the Magelands Eternal Siege.
If you can overlook the actions of the author, American Gods is excellent. It was also made into a show.
