Suggest me a book for getting out of a depressive slump
Feeling down and tired and all my current book choices are too dark and heavy. Suggest me something lighthearted and hopeful. Something to distract me from my current depressive reality.
I hope you have someone to talk to, professional or friend/family when you’re ready.

Hocus pocus by Kurt Vonnegut. His books once helped me get out of a slump. He’s so funny! But he doesn’t write what you would consider comedy books… Hocus pocus was the book of his I most recently re-read. I’d recommend anything by him.
