This might be a longshot ask, but I'm wondering if anybody knows books about the history of religious relics within the Catholic church? Looking for more than an explainer of what they are and more of an interesting history about certain pieces or the environment in the church that made them bargaining pieces and objects of worship.
Most interested in nonfiction but I'd take fiction too. I know about The Relic Master by Christopher Buckley
