My niece is homeschooled in a very rural area and has dyslexia. Her isolation and teen angst are not mixing well and combined with learning challenges and a complicated family situation, she has it pretty hard.
Obviously a graphic novel is not going to solve all her problems but I personally know the power of literature to discover and grow outside the confines of the world around you, especially for teens!
I would love some recommendations, ideally through Amazon (many others do not deliver to her PO Box). Great, visual story for a teen girl that is dyslexic-friendly without calling that out. *(She doesn’t know I know).
