What are some fiction books that are a must read for 18 year old boys? Ones that are fun to read and have important takeaways. Recently read Animal Farm and enjoyed it and Im currently reading 1984 as well.

You should read The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood.
The books you have above are good starts!
This list seems really good and complete. I would not get him The Bell Jar. Lord of the Rings would be a good addition.
Do Fahrenheit 451 first out of all the books.
I would add Lord of the Flies by William Golding
