A book where it seems not even the author knew where it was going.
It's been forever since I've had to close a book and just sit in silence for a moment after getting utterly bamboozled just one too many times. Give me whiplash.
Pretty much the only topics I dislike are toxic relationships glorified in a book and overly cliche lines. Otherwise genre and storylines are always intriguing, but bonus points for found family elements

I recently read (and loved) Lucky Break by Chuck Tibgle. I love to go into books knowing as little as possible as long as they match the vibe which this does. It was fun and cool and bizzare, I read it in a day.
