Doesn't necessarily have to be in the same type of story he tell (spy thriller/police procuderal) because he already filled that area for me. In fact, looking for something else in different genre but in a writing style like him, if you are already a fan then you know what i meant.
What I liked about his writing style is that it felt very smoothly flowing, sometimes introspective but never once make you bored. The dialogue is so amusing to read but at the same time doesnt felt corny.
The first time I read his book months ago (General's Daughter) my first thought would be "Man, this guy could write about two person chatting in a car for 20 pages, and it still did not get me bored".
Lately, i had reading slump for about month, can never pay attention and dnf'ed multiple books, so i decided maybe l should try another DeMille book (been hesitating before because most of his book are very long). The book I picked, only took 2-3 pages to grab me and now I am already past 100+ page and it felt like a breeze.
The thing is, spy thriller is never at the top of my favourite genre but he made me like it. I'm looking to find something from other genre but with his writing style.
