Hey folks, I mostly read spec fiction, but am looking for a solid ‘hooks in you’ thriller or general fiction with a who dunnit vibe. I’ve touched on the classics and am not interested in airport book vibes (Cussler, Clancy, et Al.) Recently read Bone White and was underwhelmed. Enjoyed Chris Whittaker. Crossover with weird fiction is a plus – I’ve like Robert Jackson Bennett’s horror, and was a fan of The Library at Mount Char. Reading Christie at the moment to scratch the itch, but would love something a bit more modern.
