Book suggestions from your favorite political revolutionaries!
Hello Everyone! I’m wondering if anyone can recommend some books written by/autobiographies of your favorite political revolutionaries/old leaders (roman emperors, etc)
I liked reading as a kid Alexander the Great’s stories. I get a lot are exaggerations, but some were funny.

The Story of My Experiments with Truth – by Gandhi

Both BY a political revolutionary, the anarchist Max Nomad, and ABOUT political revolutionaries: Political Heretics, from Plato to Mao Tse-tung (1963). I thought this was a very stimulating read.

*A dying colonialism* by Frantz Fanon
*Decolonial Marxism* by Walter Rodney
*The Russian revolution* by Walter Rodney
*What is to be done* by Vladimir Lenin
*Imperialism* by Vladimir Lenin
*Neocolonialism* by Kwame Nkrumah
Anything by Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Thomas Sankara, and Mao Zedong. There’s a lot, usually in various collections of speeches, essays, and letters.
Also *Black against empire* by Bloom and Martin, which is not authored by revolutionaries but which is based on extensive interviews with them and draws heavily from their own writings.
