The book you would gift someone as a Christmas present?
I read an article on the Guardian about the books authors give to people and so to further that, I'm asking for your recommendation. If you were going to gift someone a book as a Christmas present what book would you choose?
It really depends on the other person and what types of stories are going to appeal to them.

I just contributed Portalmania, a collection of short stories by Debbie Urbanski, to a women’s white elephant book exchange. Each story would leave me staring at walls. Good book to share.

A Gentleman in Moscow is one of my favorite books to gift.
I’m sending my father-in-law Braiding Sweetgrass.
My mom is getting T Kingfisher’s first two books in The Saint of Steel series.
