I’m hoping to get lost in a romance story that feels more timeless and heartfelt rather than trendy, dark, or smut-focused.
I’m looking for stories with:
Emotional depth and genuine connection
Minimal explicit content, or at least a good story line to balance it out
A more classic or timeless feel
Open to any genre — contemporary, historical, fantasy, or classics — as long as the romance is wholesome and central (or at least meaningful).

Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. Period romance. Wholesome and sweet. It’s a fun read.
You cannot go wrong with Jane Austen.
While Pride and Prejudice is the obvious one, Persuasion is also fantastic.
