I was talking with my brother earlier who was asking about recommendations for branching out on his reading (mostly a fantasy reader). It was like the floodgates had opened. I went on and on about genres and subgenres and authors and different eras of writing to the point that I had to stop myself. It never really occurred to me just how much choice we have and how fortunate we are to have it all at our fingertips nowadays. You could read every day for your whole life and never make a dent in the availability of content. It truly is remarkable.
