I read “All the Sinners Bleed” by SA Cosby and thought it was awesome. Reminded me of True Detective Season 1 (mystery embedded into a town, related to religion, southern), Silence of the Lambs (animals involved, disturbed killer, focuses on investigation), and even season 6 of Dexter.
