I just finished the 3 books in the Athena Club series by Theodora Goss.
I really loved that for once almost every important character is a woman. And I find that these characters are so well written. It was a really fresh change from all the female characters written by men (like the main character in the Augustus Punt serie) or from the characters that are always saved by men or that can't do anything without m'en (like Greta Helsing in Vivian Shaw's books).
My other favourite serie are the Flavia Deluxe mysteries. I love the humor and her witt. She's such a wonderful character and the mysteries are great.
So I'm looking for a book or a series of books with strong female character and if possible with a little bit of humor. I don't want something too dark or too scary. I don't mind murders and stuff like that but I don't want to be depressed after reading the book if that makes sense !
Does anyone have suggestions for me? If it's available on an audiobook plateforme it's a big plus for me!
