World War Z is fantastic, and only shares a name withe the film

I’ve read most of Joe Mckinney’s zombie books and liked most of them. The first, Dead City is probably the weakest.
There’s two series, though none are linked and all stand alone. The Dead World series all take part mid zombie apocalypse. Then there’s the Dead Lands, they take part years after the apocalypse.
Like I said, they are all stand alone, and there’s a different reason for the Zombie in each book.
Joe Mckinney was a cop so there’s a fair amount from cops, or military povs. But the stories are a mix of some being pretty standard people in an apocalypse and others going a little bit more fantastical, Resident Evil style.
There’s also the actual Resident Evil books, they are OK. A bit of a mixed bag.
