Hello and happy holidays, internet friends!
My stepdaughter is going to be spending Christmas this year. (Yay!) One of the traditions we have at our house is that Santa brings books and board games for gifts, then fills their stockings with “reading accessories” (a new mug, coffee/cocoa, bookmark, etc).
When I asked my daughter what sort books she was into these days, and the title there was her response…naturally 3 of the genres I almost never read or enjoy as much. 🤦🏻♀️
I would love if you all could give me some recs that she might like! (I could just ask her, but you know…Santa just KNOWS. lol I’m trying preserve some of the Christmas magic, even though my youngest has out grown the mythology too.)
Thanks everyone!

I’d recommend the Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett! Detective murder mystery novel in a well-developed sci-fi world, its sequel is also very good!
