One of my oldest and dearest friends has decided not to move forward with treatment for glioblastoma. She LOVES reading, but it’s getting more and more difficult for her eyes to focus on written text. I’d love to hear all your best light hearted reads that I can read to her when I visit.

Is there a favourite book the 2 of you spoke about or shared?
My mum loved The Hobbit and read it to me when I was little, and we read it together when older. This is what I read to her when she was dying. It wasnt so much the book but was about the memories it brought up that we found comforting.
