My middle schooler primarily reads on her Kindle, but I would like to gift her a book for Christmas. I thought I'd try to find something that has some beautiful illustrations that is best read in physical book form. Further parameters: NOT a graphic novel. No limit to reading level. No romance, no spice. She likes fantasy and realistic fiction, some favorites recently have been the Lunar Chronicles series, Keeper of the Lost Cities series, and anything by Gordon Korman. What have ya got?
