I recently started working at a fairly well known bookstore and, with the help of that discount, I’ve been really getting back to reading. One of my personal, and slightly work related, challenges is to read a book from every section. I have a pretty good stack and list for most sections except for politics and social science. I lean left and a lot of the popular and new politics books lean right (no thank you). For social science I figure something about race, gender, or sexuality would be interesting but idk where to start. Something new or relevant would be ideal. Because I’m just looking to get started in these genres I’d prefer something that is about 400 pages or less (preferably lessss). Thanks in advance!
