Which one should I choose? Books about Hero's Journey/Hero worship. Books about themes of religions, mythologies and history and to sum it up: hero worship and the place of heroes on influencing and changing the course of history and society. I found 2 interesting books that I would want to read, namely:
The Hero with a Thousand Faces, by Joseph Campbell – Talks a lot about mythologies and is a lot more famous body work of I guess?
On Heroes, Hero-Worship, & the Heroic in History, by Thomas Carlyle – much less famous and more concise but speaks more about historical figures such as Luther, Napoleon etc?
Which one should I choose if I want to learn more about the mythologies of our world, how historical figures changed the world and hero worship?
