I need a self-help/non-fiction/psychology book that delves into the father daughter relationship. I'm curious how a bad/absent father figure affects girls when they grow up and what imprint that leaves on their personality.
Fiction books and novels are okay too, but I'd want that to be one of the main things in the story, not just an idea that's mentioned.

Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents is a life-changing book. Deals more with emotional absence, but gives extremely helpful concepts overall.
