These things seem like they are sort of oppositional from my searches. But I am looking for a book that is not really an easy read and deals with difficult subject matter but is a feel good story over all. Something that kind of finds the light in the darkness and enforces hope. Ideally it would be fictional. The only example that currently comes to mind is something like Man's Search For Meaning. It doesn't have to be exceptionally dark, but I don't really want a light-weight story either if that makes any sense.
