Hi! I'm trying to write a slice of life drama and I'm looking for good books to use as reference on how authors write characters using cellphones, going to malls, acknowledging security cameras or stoplights, and any mundane use of technology as part of the norm. I notice that a lot of media I consume conveniently ignore these or set the time period to when they aren't relevant to the plot. The closer the book is to modern times, the more helpful it'll be. Thank you! I don't mind the genre, as long as it fits the idea I'm looking for.
