I'm kind of hoping for advise on any trick or tip in finding the next perfect book.
i use goodreads to find books to read, and of the 639 books in my "read" list i have about 90 that i marked 5 stars, i don't have a very defined style, mostly sci-fi or science fiction, with a sprinkle of historical fiction (the count of monte cristo).
I like philosophical books like "starship troopers", or comical like "Two Necromancers, a Bureaucrat, and an Elf" or deep like "emperor's soul", or an epica like "the lost fleet".
and i'm just losing hope in finding a good book that i will truly enjoy…
i usually find a book that i like and searching the "people also liked" tab, but i feel like its just about random, other then both being of the same general genre, say sci-fi, they have nothing in common… if i'm in the mood for something humorous, or deep and philosophical, then i'm completely blind.
so in conclusion, looking for tips and tricks to help me sift through the deluge of okay books to find the ones that i will really love, knowing i have a very specific and unique taste, i'm not looking for specific book suggestions.
    thank you <3
