This might be a bit niche, but does anyone have any book recommendations where a disgraced mc must redeem themselves alongside a sidekick that they don’t like at first? Relationships like Hank and Connor from Detroit Become Human come to mind. It’d be nice if they grow to like/care about each other as the story progresses, but I’m ok with stories that don’t end with them becoming friends. I haven’t been able to find any recommendations that fit the bill, but I’m sure they’re out there!
