I’d really love to find some books in Spanish so I can keep up my language skills. I’m a non-native speaker living in a monolingual English-speaking family and community. I would like my reading to be majority in Spanish so I can continue learning the language and not lose what I already know.
I really love memoirs like Educated, The Glass Castle, In Order to Live. Some fiction titles I enjoyed were Anxious People, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Beneath a Scarlet Sky.
I can read advanced Spanish (I’ve ready Cien años de Soledad for example), but honestly a step down from that would be better for me. Young adult literature would be a great level for me where I can understand it easily but am still learning new words.
