My kids want to know what to get me for Christmas, and I just realized a book or two could be a nice gift.
I'd love some suggestions for coffee table style books having to do with large, impressive or otherwise significant building projects. I also really like large transport vehicles such as planes, trains, container ships etc.
I've read long form books such as John McPhee or David McCullough on the Brooklyn Bridge or the Panama Canal but right now I'm looking for something I can flip through for a few minutes at a time, something with interesting photographs and tidbits of information.
TIA!
