I don't have any children yet, but in the state I'm in, I don't think I'll be a good parent.
I can think of no character building lessons I can give a child, or, at the very least, I cannot articulate what I want to teach.
I have been very mentally stagnant for the last 5 years, but even before then I did not have an aptitude for social interaction. I also have no ambitions or goals, and have just been aimlessly drifting.
I realize now that I am not getting any younger, and if I don't grab what opportunities I can right now, I'll be hurting when I can no longer care for myself.
This request is just me preparing for the future. If I get to raise a child, I'd like to do it properly and raise them to be well-rounded. I will be honest, I'd like them to be a bit like me and have a lot of empathy and consideration for others, as well as possessing a good mental toughness.
I would also like to prepare myself to break out of my stagnation and experience the world like I never did.
Ah, sorry, I've digressed much. Please, I'd love to hear about any recommendations. Thank you in advance.
