I’ve been living with metastatic cancer for a long time and have been in ongoing treatment for years. Recently, some new developments led my doctors to schedule additional tests and scans, turning what should’ve been routine into an all-day hospital situation. I’m honestly freaking out, and I’ll be going through it alone. I’m looking for books that are completely absorbing — the kind that take over your brain so you can’t think about anything else. Podcasts are welcome too, even though this is a book sub. Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions.
