I actually never really read a book and I remember the last time actually reading was back in college which was many years ago.

I mainly read nonfiction books like math and science because it pertained to my degree which was engineering but other than that, nothing else.

I’d like to get back into it. I’d like to start it slow but also start without something that could help me improve.

I actually already started reading this book on politics called “Politics – A Very Short Introduction” by Kenneth Minogue. I choice it cause I wanted to understand politics. I’m already having a hard time grasping a lot of what the book is saying and to me it sounds like complex language lol so at this point I’m just reading through to just get myself in the rhythm of just reading. Whatever I grasp I’ll grasp.

Anyways, I always thought my English was bad and to put it more deeper, not good in conversations and I don’t feel intellectually passionate in my conversations and in life. I don’t know if this makes sense, I tried to explain as much as I can but I guess I was to read literature to make me a much better person in terms of talking and understanding myself, people and the world around me.

End goal with literature books is to be able to ready literature books from prominent figures like Plato and the like.

Can someone recommend a super basic literature book to start or even a a resource of books to start from beginning to end so that when I do finish this mapped journey, I’d be able to pick up literatures books and have a good understanding of what I’m reading and also improve in what I’ve mentioned which is my overall English, speaking, understanding of everything.

    Thank you!
