My son is 8 and reads at a level about 1.5 grades ahead. We read every night together and he's about at the age when my daughter started chapter books instead of the easy readers. He enjoys reading, but also has a splash of ADHD and trying new things is sometimes an obstacle, so I'm hoping for something that'll really grab him.
He likes superheroes and sci-fi/fantasy. His favorite seems to lean towards witches. He likes K-POP Demon Hunters and generally gravitates to strong female leads; he usually prefers the anti-hero though, like Scarlet Witch and Catwoman.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated.
