Not sure exactly how to describe this, but I'm looking for books that are cozy but not in a corny or saccharine way, with gothic/dark elements but also some wholesomeness. Less Becky Chambers and TJ Klune and more like The Goblin Emperor, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead and GDT's Frankenstein movie.
