Just finished “A Christmas Carol” I loved it. I’m going to read it every year now going forward around 🎄

Dungeon crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. Hands down in my top 3 books of the year. It was an epic adventure and really funny, the humor was golden! can’t wait to read the other books in the series.

“Paradise Falls” by Keith O’Brien, about the Love Canal toxic waste disaster. It was interesting. I didn’t realize that was the origin of Superfund. Love Canal was *the* original Superfund site. I also didn’t realize what a major role Al Gore played in holding Occidental/Hooker Chem. accountable. I didn’t realize he’d been active in politics that long.

American Dirt. 3 out of 5. The ending fell very flat. Like the writer ran out of gas and just ended it.

The Frozen River. It was pretty good.

The Hotel New Hampshire. I’m a pretty big John Irving fan to begin with but this quickly became one of my favorites. It’s a little offbeat but I like that!
