Hey guys, I'm looking for basically what it says on the tin, bonus points of the person/people who cherish them aren't interested in them romantically.
Some examples of ways I've seen this done that I've enjoyed: Maia from "The Goblin Emperor" and Natsume from "Natsume's Book of Friends."
Romance is still welcome, but please no dark romance or sexual assault between the main couple! I'm also not really a fan of the romantasy dynamic that's really popular recently (eg: dark, brooding male love interest who is an asshole to everyone and lots of sarcastic/witty banter between the main leads who hate each other for xyz reasons). I'm tired of enemies to lovers 😂
I just want some good wholesome healing and hurt/comfort
