For background, when I was younger I read more fantasy/adventure (around middle school) then moved to isekai Manga, and more recently I have been reading more fantasy/adventure webtoons and such.
Ive been wanting to read more books again but still want to read fantasy that gives me that hook the same as the webtoons I have read for the past few years.
Stuff that hooked me in were adventure/action like omnicient reader, the last adventurer, there are no bad warriors, the knight only lives today, surviving the game as a barbarian, etc
However I have been leaning into the more fantasy stories with slice of life or more female lead focused. Stories like "marriage of convenience", "not your typical reincarnation story", "the spark in your eyes", "trapped in a soap opera".
Is there any reccomendations for novels or such that would be more into that fantasy side but hook in that way? I have been especially hooked in recently with the way female leads could be catty or be frank with ruder/meaner characters.
Any and all recommendations appreciated. I would love to check out all the stuff recommended.
