Hello everyone, I just started getting into fiction books and I need good recommendations. I have read Percy Jackson a while ago and I think I haven’t read much fiction after that. Now I feel a deep desire to get back to fiction books because I am tired of reading this self-help/psychology books. I got recommended to read the North Water and so far I am enjoying. I think I like fantasy, adventure, historical fictions, but I want it to be for adults. Right now I am looking in to Brandon Sanderson’s work too. I ordered the first book and I will see how it gets. So any books that you think I might like ??
Thanks

Have you read 11/22/63 by Stephen King?
Bernard cornwell is great for historical fiction. His saxon stories series is based on real battles that happened. And has been made into a BBC series which is on netflix.
Fantasy try the first law series by joe Abercrombie. There is a barbarian, archer, mage, knight, and quite a few others. Fantastic series that also includes 3 more stand alones and a follow up trilogy.
For new readers i like to recommend books related to something you know. Movies you enjoyed that say something like this story was based on a book. Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy or just anything tom clancy. Rainbox six by clancy is a fantastic stand alone that spawned a crazy video game series. Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton is also a great read and great movie. Crichton is another author like clancy lots of movies from his books. Sphere and outbreak both his stories. Stephen King has a lot of wild movies from books too shawshank redemption, IT, and carrie.
Aztec, The Journeyer, or maybe Raptor by Gary Jennings. Depending on whichever culture/era you’re more interested in. They’re all historical fiction.
