Hello,
I am building myself a list of books that would contain 100 books absolutely worth reading. And I want to read them in the chronological order: I want to keep in mind the context that the author had at the time of writing (i.e. which books they had read before writing on their own).
This list is based on the books that I liked once or think I will like, plus the books I consider worth reading whether I like them or not.
It is work in progress. So far I got 87 books and I need 13 more. (I will put the link to the current list in the comment.)
You will notice that it is rather heavily biased towards the 19+ century, Europe/US. I would appreciate any recommendation about which books I absolutely need to add there. But also which ones, you think, I might remove (I guess, everyone's looking at Harry Potter here?).
If you don't want to dig into the list, could you please recommend me 1 or 2 books from the writer of your country that deserve to be in top X lists.
