I'm looking for books that have a sort of restless/impatient/frenetic energy to the prose and pov character, especially ones in the horror/thriller genre from female povs. this is for voice research on a book I'm writing, so I'm looking for suggestions based on vibes, atmosphere, and structure, but I'm open to anything that just feels like it has the right heartbeat. thanks in advance!
